DAATH: New Album To Be Mixed By Former DEATH Guitarist
August 27, 2004Atlanta-based technical death metallers DAATH have recruited former DEATH/TESTAMENT guitarist James Murphy to mix their second album, tentatively titled "The Hinderers". "We are currently in pre-production and expect to start tracking in November," the band write on their web site. "We're going to slow down on booking gigs in order to allow more time for song tweaking." An early 2005 release is expected.
As previously reported, DAATH are still looking for a bassist and keyboard player. "We need you to be able to travel, be into the music, and be willing to play the songs as we wrote them," the band write. "If you fit this description then get in touch with us."
DAATH recently completed a short tour of the southeastern U.S. with MISERY INDEX and PARABELLUM.
